I've been using a robot litter box for some time, but I hate using the clay litter because it tracks so badly no matter which one I use. I kept finding litter all over my apartment, including my bed, and I don't really need surprise exfoliation while sleeping. So, I decided to go back to good ol scooping and try michu at the recommendation of a friend and am so glad I did. For the mixed litter, I don't smell the litter at all, and after only a couple minutes, the fresh poop stank is completely gone. There's not even an odor at all with pee. And I love that I can just pick up my litterbox and take it to my bathroom to scoop all the waste straight into the toilet. Any reason to not using plastic bags or go to the dumpster is great. Trying the rainbow 6 pack next!

This stuff is great. It’s the only kitty litter I’ve found that doesn’t make me gag when I walk past it or clean the box. Kinda weird but it makes me think of birthday cake with its appearance and scent… quite the upgrade over my experiences with everything else!

It does an excellent job with covering up urine smells and clumping but doesn’t really cover the poop smell at all. It’s also pretty good when it comes to litter tracking, it still tracks but nowhere near as bad as the clay clumping litter we always used.

After 25 years of cat rescue work, I have seen many different types of litter. This litter checks all of the boxes! Excellent in texture for cats with arthritis or respiratory allergies. Excellent with less tracking. Excellent in odor control and dust. I will add I clean my boxes Twice a day, but it is a potty so it has to be flushed! It’s a win with cats and caretakers!

love this litter as there’s no dust and doesn’t get stuck in the toe beans but i can smell her poop still, this doesn’t do the BEST job at clumping poops the poop just tryna sat in the litter not too much stuck to it lol and i could smell it. also now it’s sold out so how am i supposed to refill it people restock!

This litter was great for the first week it hid the smell, it has minimal tracking, and it’s super easy to clean. I’ve been using it for about 2.5 weeks now and it doesn’t hide the smell of cat urine anymore, I clean the litter box every day multiple times a day. I was really hoping to love this litter but between the price and the time it takes to arrive I don’t know if I’ll give it another shot.

SO O O ) clean. NO DUST. Scoops perfect clumps. I put a bag of this product on bottom of pan and then put a bag of the Michu Peach fragrance on top of it. Works for one cat for over two weeks. No waste when scooped.

It has only been one week since my cat started using it but I am loving it so far.
1. Absolutely no dust. I don’t need to hold my breath anymore while cleaning and refilling the litter box.
2. No lingering smell on my cat’s paws. With the old litter, I can always smell clay/ litter on his paws when he came straight to bed after using the box. Not a problem anymore!
3. As you can see in the picture, some litter pellet came outside the box with him, but it’s significantly less than clay litter and the bigger size makes them fall off sooner and not get spread around as much.
4. It did take my cat longer to adjust to this litter. Before, when switching litter to different brands, even with strong fragrance, he had no problem jumping right in to use the new one. I think the texture of this litter surprised him a little so I did have to do a slow transition by sprinkling more and more of this litter onto his old one for 2-3 days.
But overall, I am very happy with this litter.

I waited to write this review so I could evaluate this litter after using it for at least a month. A litter you love the first week can turn into a nightmare by the fourth week. I have used at least a dozen different litters over the years. I have tried all the litter materials known to man and cat. My number one priority for an excellent litter is odor control. My second priority is no or little dust. Michu Mixed Tofu Heavy Duty cat litter gets an A+ in odor control. I no longer use an additional odor control agent in the litter boxes and have been able to remove several plug-in air fresheners. The Mixed Tofu litter gets an A- for dust control. There is some dust but it is minimal. I no longer have to wipe down every piece of furniture in the room every day. The litter gets a C for tracking. But tracking is not a concern for me. My furry family members weigh 18 and 20 pounds. They have huge paws and track this small-grain litter everywhere. But I own cats so I have many vacuum cleaners and electric brooms, because they shed everywhere, too. They're cats, after all. Messes are to be expected. I actually signed up for a subscription to receive this litter, I like it so well. I have never done that before. Thanks Michu Pet.

I've been using the colored Michu litter for about a year now. I love that it can match my bathroom... makes having litter in the bathroom slightly easier to live with. Being able to flush it instead of bagging it and getting it all over is awesome!
I have 2 cats, one took to the litter immediately, the other took a bit to come around. I don't think he liked the way it felt. He uses it about 50% of the time.
When this new version came out, I decided to try it. I miss my blue litter, but the hesitant cat uses this litter more now! I think he may like the texture better. I'm going to give it a little more time, then may take the scoopable litter box away.
The price is a little more than scoopable litter. I'm happy to pay for the convenience of flushing litter and the cleanliness of no dust, less tracking, and no mess from scooping and bagging. To me- so worth it!

I recently tried another brand of tofu litter (not Michupet’s), and unfortunately it went horrible! However, switching to MichuPet’s heavy duty tofu litter I am much more satisfied and happy! My cat’s urine was stinking up my roommate and I’s apartment, and boy were we not happy. (This was with the other brand) Once this litter came in I immediately deep cleaned my cat’s litter box, and placed the new Michupet litter. Donnie (my wonderful and crazy black and white short hair) immediately hopped into the litter box to use it. And to my pleasant surprise, just after he used it I scooped the clump (it formed super fast!) and smelled it. I couldn’t smell anything at all! Just the milky smell of the tofu litter! It’s clumping capabilities are also incredibly good. Clumps immediately and doesn’t fall apart too much if left un scooped for a couple hours. (I tend to get busy with going to classes and can’t scoop the litter all the time) I DO NOT recommend leaving any flushable litter for long periods of time (a day or more) in the litter box, though, as it is meant to dissolve. My only grievance would be that it does not cover feces smell well. But if you keep on top of scooping the litter this should not be a problem! (maybe a temporary problem if you walk by the litter box and get hit with the unexpected smell of cat poop, not a pleasant experience haha). Continuing on, this litter flushes down the toilet wonderfully, as it dissolves quickly in water. But, other than the small issue if the feces smell, this litter is a definite recommendation!

I really like this litter. It helps with the smell. I also like their other litter. It is great we no longer waste plastic bags emptying the litter box. It simply goes into the toilet. I would recommend this product. The other thing we like is it is easy to pick up of if gets on the floor. Sand tends to go everywhere.

This is the best kitty litter I've used ; it's flushable which is wonderful, has no dust, and the odor control is great. Better for cats and better for the environment. The only downside is the price, however it does last longer than regular litter.

So far this litter is very good. I switched to this litter after TofuKitty went out of business. This litter dissolves faster in the toilet than Tofukitty. And so far, there is absolutely no poop or pee smell. It seems to be very good at masking odors. Tracking and clumping is roughly the same quality as tofukitty. I will be sticking with this litter.

This is the best cat litter out there. We have tried so many different types of cat litter from silica to clay to corn to newspaper to partial tofu and none of them are as good as this one. This litter absorbs the odors, clumps the urine and lasts really well. SO worth every penny.

It works for the Litter Robot Open Air, BUT put only half of the required litter. DO NOT FILL UP TO THE LINE. Since there are granules that are bigger, if you put too much, it won’t filter it properly.
I like this litter because it has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced litter all over my place! My cat is medium hair so regular litter sticks to his fur and he likes to DASH out of the litter robot. This litter does not stick to him. I would say 80% less tracking than regular litter.

This is a very good Tofu mixed litter. It's super absorbent and works well to lock on moisture and control odors. The size of the mixed granules means my cats can still dig and bury their dirt to their heart's content. This is flushable in small quantities. My three cats all love this litter and will go out of their way to use the litter box that has this litter inside.

I've used a corn litter before that works great but the past few weeks they hiked up the price so I changed to this one. What I like about it is that it's not dusty like the other one. My cat has a weird habit of sticking his head back in the litter box and trying to cover his poo more resulting in recurring eye infection because the corn litter was very dusty. This one is a lot better for his eyes.

i have 5 cats and litter robot but sometimes they have to wait in line to use it, so i set up a new litter box next to it and added Michupet litter it makes it easy to clean up by flushing it down the toilet and i don't have to clean up as much as before.

I do prefer this litter over others because it is easier to clean, but it still creates some dust and if you have messy cats like me. But since the pellets are large enough not to get too stuck on their paws, the litter doesn't go too far. It does clump their pee well.

I have two cats, and they leave the most heinous smells in the litter box. We just recently got them a second litter box, our other is pellets so we were looking for a good litter, this one clumps really well and I swear to you when I say you can’t smell a thing. Until you clean and start moving stuff around you really can’t smell anything bad unless you stick your face in the litter box. 10/10 !!
