While this litterbox looks nice, there it is lacking in some of the claimed functionality. The catch basin catches nothing because my cats launch themselves out of this litterbox at the speed of light. Since switching to this box I have so much litter all over my bathroom now. Adding a mat in front should fix the problem, but because of the design, any mat that is in front of it has to be moved out of the way to scoop. You can't pull the litter tray out with a litter mat in front of it. I next tried a large mat and setting the whole system on it so I could put the tray out. It did not work. I could pull the tray out, but not put it back in. So, it gets points for being looks, ease of access to the litter, and ease of cleaning, but it missed the mark on actually containing litter. Maybe it works better on their tofu litter...

I just moved to a smaller space and thought this litter box would be a space saver and keep my cat from throwing gravel all over the floor. Surprisingly, he took to it right away and has no trouble at all using it (and he is a BIG boy -14lbs!). It does keep him from throwing litter out of the box and the lid removes easily for scooping.

Most litter boxes are not very aesthetically pleasing, I suppose few have thought about ways to make these things more appealing. I get why, but at the same time I had grown very tired of the giant, weirdly industrial looking, litter box I had. It worked, but was such an eye sore no matter where I put it. I was also so tired of the litter I use getting tracked outside the box!

Okay so I love it 98%! The leftover 2% is because it doesn't have a good attachment between the walls of the box, and the actual litter tray itself. Meaning that when my cats kick their litter around it leaks onto the floor below, and if they decide to pee up against the wall of the box it will leak down on the floor below. I fixed this using a little silicone, and after my ghetto rigging, it works perfectly. Other than that it's spectacular, there's less litter tracking, and they seem more comfortable in it. They both LOVE laying on the top scratcher.

I have only top entry litterboxes and one day my neutered male cat decided to pee outside the boxes. This cycle is so hard to break! After cleaning cat pee for a week I decided to give this litterbox a try, and after 2 months he has not peed outside the boxes even one more time. They also definitely prefer this one then the top entry boxes. Easy to clean and fill.

We've used a few different litter boxes (basic open top, covered with no door) and this is hands down the favorite box in the house. I was worried they wouldn't understand how to use it or not like the swinging door, but, to my surprise, they go to this box the most out of all the boxes and figured it out very quickly. Contains the smell decently, but just about as good as the door-less models. It is very effective at keeping litter inside the box, which is mainly what I love about it.

I bought this on a budget but it’s actually held up quite well in the past several months. I use pine pellets as opposed to clay litter, but I don’t think that effects the usage of the box any. I enjoy the corner fit because it allows our cat to turn around comfortably without stepping in his own poop. It’s just a very decent and smell-reducing litter box. The side locking mechanisms aren’t strong enough to hold the bottom when it’s full of litter so please don’t carry it by the handle, but also remember most litter boxes are designed with a handle just to lift the lid off, not to carry the whole thin.

I recently had to upgrade to this deluxe model type Box, due to my cat's age and larger weight. Not to mention her legs aren't as "bendy" as when she was a sprite kitten. Her old litter box was just a bit to tough for her to get in and out of. Shes had none of those problems with this box. It also has much more room for her to turn around and exit comfortably without bending her legs a ton.

I have two kittens. I was worried they would not figure out the door. Took them 2 minutes. They have been going in and out and in and out and in and out for the past 15 minutes. They think this is the greatest thing ever. I was hoping to avoid having to have a mat there but nope. Unless I want litter on the floor, I'm going to have to get one. Otherwise, this thing is great and totally kitten approved.

I tried two other brands it was such a pain to clean. This one really works at containing litter and helps keep it from getting all over the surrounding floor. Its roomy and easy for my kitten to get in and out of. I’m very happy with this purchase, my cat is happy too.

Sealed very tightly, you just need to push the pieces in with some force. Litter doesn't go out of the sides, but its still smart to have a little carpet for one of the sides. Also makes cleaning litter super easy with the sliding tray. Cute and doesnt stink up the house because of the lid.

I love this litter box. The only place I can have the litter box is in my bathroom that is shaped so that the box would have to go in the middle. I thought this litter box looked great and would help with the litter a little. Any little bit would help. To my surprise, it works way better than expected. Rarely is there any litter that falls out which I love.

I keep this in my living room so I was super happy to find something that didn't really look like a litter box. My cat does great with it. It's bigger than I pictured but my kitten will obviously grow up and need more space anyway.

Why no other company thought to make a litter box with HIGH walls is a mystery. I saw this box at a friend's house and bought one immediately. I have two of these boxes now. My main issue with the standard boxes, even those with lids or 'high' walls, is that my male cats pee horizontally into the wall of the box, which then seeps out the between the box/lid, or just goes right over the box all together if there is no lid. Both my males pee like this. But with THIS box -- the walls are tall enough to catch all pee, no seepage, no litter getting kicked over the sides.Very clever. The plastic is very smooth and slick, so I have not seen much detritus sticking to the inside walls - easy to clean.

Extremely thrilled with this litter box! I REALLY wanted this to work as we have a very tight bathroom in a small city apartment and needed a dog proof litter box. I was reluctant at 1st because the dimensions for the Med box we’re slightly smaller than the standard hooded box we used for years, and with two cats I was worried that we shouldn’t go smaller, especially because one of our cats is quite large. But it fit perfectly! And the cats all fit perfectly! And it looks nice, unlike our old unsightly litter box it doesn’t look like a litter box & due to it’s sleek design wedge in nicely between our toilet & sink and kind of made our tiny bathroom suddenly look so much bigger! Also, the cats (11 & 4) adapted to it immediately.

I really love this cat box—so much that I have purchased three of them! We have a newer cat who is about 15 months old. When we brought her home from the shelter, we bought a classic small litter box. She is a good girl and always used the box. However, without meaning to, she would crouch and pee and could pee outside the box without meaning to. That made me look at the higher-side boxes. I find this cat box a breeze to keep clean.This one wipes clean easily with vinegar and water. Oh and my kitty took to it right away. The boxes are throughout the house, they are unobtrusive, easy to clean, even the scoops that come with the box are great. I love them!

This litter box was well worth the month-long wait. We were worried our cat wouldn’t know how to use it but he took to it right away.It hasn’t completely eliminated litter tracking but it has reduced it by about 90% and I would even say it has reduced the smell. The design is great too—most people we have over don’t realize it’s a litter box.

We have three cats. Two adult and one 11 week old kitten. One of the adult cats would poop outside the litter box if I didn’t clean it the same time every day. I went up to clean this one and expected there to be poop outside the box since it had been a little over 24 hours since I cleaned it last. Nope. No poop outside of it and no litter on the floor. Our kitten also uses this with no issues.

I really needed something for my cats. I have 2 fat cats and one of them is picky about her litter box. I tried one and she didn’t like it at all! Like refused to use it. So I got a regular one and my other one thought it was a sand box and always had a ton of litter outside the box. So I found this one and they box seem to like it and I don’t have to sweet half the litter up when I change it.

I’ve tried many a litter boxes trying to find the right fit for my two cats. I have had a little dome covered one (my boy 13lb boy cat was too cramped). I’ve tried other high walled boxes. I’ve tried disposable ones. And this was appears to work the best. Enough room for both cats (though I think if you have a cat much larger than 13lbs it might feel a little on the cramped side for them). My cats are also terrible at keeping litter in the litter box. This is one of the better ones so far at keeping it in.

Just wanted to say Thank you, for sending the scoop. I really didn’t expect it to be sent but mainly wanted it to be know for some other buyer that it says it comes with a scoop so there should be one. Anyway the box came earlier than expected which was very much appreciated and it is pretty straightforward on how it all works. I like the high sides so it helps eliminated litter spillage. A good starter for kittens. I am giving the fifth star now as the seller was good enough to acknowledge my first review and followed through with the complete item ordered so I thank you again for that. I needed a smaller sized litterbox for my big cat due to size constraints where I wanted to put it. My cat is a messy boy and gets litter everywhere. This box fits perfectly and with the high walls, it works like a lid but also, at the same time, provides my cat with plenty of head room and space. It took him about 15 seconds to jump in and use it.

The first litter box I bought because I did not plan to get a furbaby so soon, so before I went to pick her up I needed to get all the initial supplies. She was litter box trained but she would stick her butt partially pointing out of the box and of course missed. I put a doggie pad down and those are not cheap. The first day I got this box everything stays inside the box and I love it. The openings seem large but they catch what needs to be thrown out. Shipping was great, well packed and it arrived 10 days before the estimated delivery date. doing a happy dance!!!

I have two cats, one who loves to dig and cover her business by acting like an excavator. This usually results in little litter bits all over. If stepping on a Lego hurts, there's a special other type of hell of walking barefoot and getting little clay clumps or crystals stuck to your feet. I saw this one and thought maybe, and surprisingly it has been amazing. I still put a mat at the entrance because cats feet can't help but sometimes track some out, but the tall sides let her excavate and dig all day without chucking litter over the sides like a toddler with a plastic shovel in the sand. 10/10.

My partner and I were hesitant to get this litter box because our guy is very big, very old and possibly vision impaired. We were worried that he wouldn't figure out how to get in and out of the thing and would just start going wherever he pleased instead.
When he first approached, it was clear he didn't know what to do; but I just let him sniff around in there and figure out that it was safe, and voila! In a matter of minutes, he was crawling inside. When he finished, he had no trouble getting out; and, as others have mentioned, the promise that this will result in less litter around your house is 100% accurate! He leapt out of the thing and there was NO litter left behind on the floor or anywhere else. This is definitely going to help keep our place cleaner and I hope that having to hop out of it every time will give our guy some much-needed exercise!

As a lifelong multiple-cat caregiver, i thought i would forever have to deal with the stench, hassle, and mess of traditional litter systems. Im so glad i was wrong! With this litter box, the odor is eliminated, there is no mess outside the box, litter isnt tracked around the house, and there is no digging out huge urine clumps! I dont even usually leave reviews but i love this product sooo much because my husband no longer complains about the house smelling like cats and my daughter no longer complains about poop scooping. I have an ancient cat companion. He was a mature feral when we found one another over a decade ago and after a visit with a vet, I was told he had every feline disease under the sun. The vet didn’t encourage sterilization because he was concerned about the cat’s capacity to heal. I was told if I kept the cat that he would need to be an “only” cat. I did and he is. This said, he has the strongest scented urine of any animal I’ve ever known. For years he used a Litter-Robot. I felt it was better than conventional boxes, but never better enough to justify the ridiculous cost. Sometimes the clumps stuck and didn’t enter into the disposal box, and the smell was still awful, regardless of daily disposal. I should mention too, that my cat companion suffers from allergies and sneezes ALOT! So… between the smell, litter flying all over the place, and snot too, I’ve more than proven my love and allegiance to this old guy, lol.
After the Litter-Robot quit functioning, I went back to a conventional box… horrific experience for me and for my guy.
Then I came across the NEW litter box. Amazing and so very simple. I can’t say enough positive words about it. Literally zero smell. The simplest and absolutely cleanest litter box experience I’ve ever had to contend with. I absolutely love love love … and my guy seems happier too. His allergies have shown significant improvement. We’re both extremely pleased to have found the litter box.

I have the litter box in my room and there is almost no smell and clean up is super easy. I have asthma and allergies and let me tell you this liter box and feline pine has changed my life. Healthy for you and your cat get those nasty chemically filled liters out of your life and go green!!

I decided to try this after seeing a commercial for it. I hate regular litter boxes because of the litter getting tracked everywhere despite everything I’ve tried. I was skeptical, and wasn’t even sure my cat would use it. But after a few days of having the old and this new litter box side by side (their recommendation for transition to the new one), my cat started exclusively using this new one. I can’t ever smell anything unless I’m right in the same room when he poops (I mean, it’s the same with people), and it fades quickly. I love being able to just scoop the poop out and flush it, plus just pull out the pee pad and replace it! It’s so easy and so clean.
