The best litter I have bought and have tried MANY brands over the years. I think clay litter is unhealthy for cat and home. A piece of Michu may get stuck in paws but falls off when they touch the floor, in front of litter box. NO TRACKING or dusty paws. I put used litter in plastic bags and tie up until next addition. I put the bag outside once a day, in a pile, until garbage day. Large, rinsed out used zip lock bags work real well for cat litter rather than trashing them. They seal oder well all day.

It was amazing how fast my cat switched from clay litter to tofu. If you have a long haired cat, trust me you'll want to try it. No more litter trails or litter stuck in his fur. Little waste, it clumps well so the litter lasts longer. Also, NO DUST!

We have 5 kitties and we were tired of the clay litter dust and worried about both our and the cats' health long term breathing it in, so decided to try something else. We experimented with Michu tofu litter and Fresh Step crystal litter. This tofu litter is the clear winner even though it took the cats longer to get used to it.
I LOVE the no-dust factor, and it clumps the cat pee unlike the crystal litter. We did have to get a different scoop with slightly bigger slots to be able to shift out the tofu litter, but that's a tiny price to pay to not have to deal with the dust.
The tofu litter still does track outside the box, just like the clay and crystal, but since the pieces are bigger & more easily visible it's easier to see and clean up.
As far as odor control, it does a pretty decent job. We do scoop at least 2-3 times a day, and spray Arm&Hammer litter deodorizer spray after each scooping. Between that and using a Litter Genie pail, we often get comments from people that the house doesn't smell like we have 5 cats at all (and our litter boxes are indoors, not out in the garage).
My one suggestion is, stick to the original kind. One of our kitties developed kidney stones (not related to this litter) and we were able to detect it because the original tofu litter is white & we could see blood in her pee. Not sure if we would have been able to notice it quite as easily with the other color litter versions (especially the pink/watermelon one).
All in all, we are SUPER happy with this litter and can't imagine using anything else ever again for our babies.

Finally. At last. Eureka! How many different types of cat litter have I tried before finding tofu litter, I can't begin to count. i really like this kitty litter because i have no more sand residue up my nose. it clumps really well and getting more bang for my buck is always great.
it might seem more expensive but the box doesnt need to be cleaned as often as a sand box.

This was our first time using tofu litter and we have been loving it! It took the cats a little bit to feel comfortable using it in the litter box but after a day or two, they were using the litter box like normal! Clumps great and had good odor control. Highly recommend trying this tofu litter out!

We've been subscribed to the "natural" tofu litter over a year now.
It's such a relief to be able to flush it down the toilet, instead of collecting it in a bag to throw in the trash, which is also way better for the environment (less waste).
The tofu litter does a good job at reducing the smell and does a great job with clumping (making the scooping easier).
There's very little tracking of litter, and when there is some tracking outside the litter box, it's a quick and easy job to get rid of it.

Michu cat litter is the truly the best litter product for my cat. It is the only brand litter I buy and is the sole reason I get to keep my kitty, you see my Kitty (Mittens) is a beautiful Tuxedo I saved and could only keep him if I figured out how to control his litter box odor. Let me tell you, I tried everything! Various Clay litters, pine pellets, crystals, walnut and even corn litters couldn't couldn't take on Mitten's stench. Tofu was the miracle. Specifically Michu as I also tried various Tofu products. Michu Tofu litter absorbed and controlled odor like you wouldn't believe, its been my kitty's saving grace.

This product lives up to its item description it does clump way more solid than regular clay cat litter. It’s also a better alternative and the odor control is pretty good as well I’ve been testing this cat litter for about 2 weeks and I honestly have no complaints about it. The green tea scent doesn’t seem to bother neither me or my cats and it’s overall a solid cat litter choice.

So. Not exactly sure where to start with all the issues I had with this litter. It was the most dusty litter I’ve ever tried, like my cats were coming out covered in dust particles, made my chest tighten up when cleaning their litter, and also had a weird like particle board scent? Definitely not watermelon, so not sure if watermelon was referring to the color or what. Would not recommend

I’m really pleased with this litter. I have a pure white Turkish Angora with long hair and every type of crumpling litter I’ve tried has gotten stuck in her hair if she happens to wander through damp litter (or worse through fresh poo). It has never happened with this litter, which I find thrilling and I know she does too! Plus it truly is flushable, it dissolves almost immediately in the toilet! And no dust!!! And very little tracking!!! I truly is a great litter!
I’ve had a bit of a challenge with delivery being timely, however I’m hoping that since I’ve subscribed that problem may be resolved. We’ll see.

Love this litter! First if all, it absorbs odor. That's the most important thing to me in a multi cat household. Beyond that there are several positives. It clumps super tightly and quickly, hardly any litter scattered from the box like there is with traditional litter. Virtually no dust. And it really does last so much longer than regular litters. Definitely recommend!

We have never had a cat, and ending up adopting a kitty that we believe had been dumped. We initially purchased regular clumping litter, and after a week it just stunk. Not only did it not absorb odor, but it also ended up tracked all of our tile floor, which drove me nuts. So along with all of the vaccuuming I was doing, I researched several pellet litters, and decided to give Michu a try. I ordered 2 bags of watermelon and 2 bags of ocean fresh. We are currently using the watermelon and I will never buy the regular clay clumping litter again. This stuff is great! There is no odor when using Michu, and it clumps great- both pee and poo. It costs more than traditional litter, but it is so worth it. I plan to begin autoship once I'm ready to order again. From a dog person that is still learning everything about having a pet cat, I highly recommend trying this stuff.

The tracking of clay litter left me in absolute shambles everyday, sweeping it up multiple times a day and pulling it out my long haired cats fur. This litter is perfection I tell everyone about it. The tracking is so minimal, it’s never stuck in her fur, and I find it quite easy to scoop with the right shaped scooper for the bits.

I've been using Michu for a little over a year and I love it. We all know clay litter sucks. I tried a few different cat litter alternatives before coming to Michu. I tried pine pellets, I tried a generic silica crystal litter, and I tried Pretty Litter. The pine didn't clump, so I had to use a sifting litter box and it smelled like pee-soaked wood chips, because that's what it was. The generic silica litter and pretty litter were pretty much the same. It was good at minimizing odor but it tracked EVERYWHERE and having sharp silica crystals all over my floor was no good. Then I found Michu! It was good for the environment, my cat didn't track it nearly as much as silica or clay litter, and it did decently well on odor control. It's relatively inexpensive since one small bag lasts about a month and I can save by subscribing. I also purchased a litter box from furrytail and my cat and I both love it. It also has a platform for litter to be captured so it doesn't track as much.

I love this litter! The peepee clumps and is easy to scoop and it actually isn't unsightly to look at. Flushing it is a breeze. I'd like to note this is only good for INDOOR cats. You should not flush litter of outdoor cats, as certain bacterias could get into the water supply and sicken your family and community.

We were using a really popular odor absorbing urinary health telling litter and my cat hated it. The litter would get caught between her toes, it’d track throughout the house, though it says it won’t, and - on top of that - it was burning her poor little paws! Can’t say it did much for odor either, I actually think it made her pee smell worse.
I digress, we ordered the Green tea, tofu, flushable litter and the little kit is throwing parties again. She is so much happier and as an owner I love seeing it!

My son is allergic to my cat, as we've come to the conclusion. To eliminate some of his severe allergies as I am convinced it was partially due to clay clumping litter, I bought this. So far so good! My kitten pooped in it right away and it wasn't hard to clean unlike clay which is extremely difficult and messy. I flushed it down the toilet and right away the balls dissolved. I added a little fresh pet crystals and a pee pad (scented) to the litter box but so far , I don't smell anything! It smells fresh even with my kittens poop! I love that its organic materials that won't harm my kitten should he taste it.
